How to change language on Powerpoint

I. Set a new language on PowerPoint

Step 1: First, go to File and select Options.
Step 2: Switch to the the Language tab. Here, look at the Office display language, choose a language option from the list below and click OK. You can see from below that I only use English.

To set the language that matches the Microsoft Window language you are using, click on Match Microsoft Window.

II. Install additional language on Powerpoint

As you can see, I only have one language which is English to choose. If I want to add Japanese then what should I do? Well, that means I must install additional languages.
Step 1: To do this, click on Install additional display language from Office.com

Step 2: A new window pops-up. It tells you to select a new language to install. Then, you click on Install to start downloading.

Step 3: You will be redirected to your browser’s window. Now, click Download to get the new language of Office.

Step 4: When you have finished downloading, open the OfficeSetup.exe file and click Run. After that, wait a few minutes to complete the setup process. It will take some times, but don’t rush.

Step 5: After the installation, restart PowerPoint, go to File => Options. Then, in the Office display language section, a new language appeared. You can click on Set as Preferred if you want it to be Microsoft’s primary display language.
