How to active GC toolkits in Siemens NX

 GC toolkits in Siemens NX use to create spring, gear, sprocket,… but we do not see it when we install NX. How to enable it?

How to active GC toolkits in Siemens NX?

Note:  The image below I use Win 7 version, other versions are similar

1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties

2. Select Advanced system settings ->  Click the Enviroment Variables button

3. In the System Variables section, select the New button

4. In the Variable name field enter: UGII_COUNTRY

In the Variable value field enter: prc

5. Start NX, create a new file or open an existing file, we will see GC_Toolkits appear on the menu bar.
