How to create rocket animation in PowerPoint

PowerPoint has a huge treasure of effects, we all know that. You can choose the available effects or create your own. However, if you just apply the effect alone, it will not take full advantage. You need to know how to combine PowerPoint tools to create completely new effects. Specifically in this tutorial on how to create a fireworks effect, we will dive into the Shape tool, very familiar, right?

How to create rocket animation in PowerPoint?

Step 1: Start with inserting shape. You will choose the 12 vertex star Shape as shown below or more as you like. Remember to hold the Shift key so that the shape is symmetrically created.

On the shape you have just drew, there’s a yellow dot near the top, click on it and drag it straight down to create even straight lines.

Step 2: To format the shape, go to Format, select Shape Outline to choose the color and thickness of the shape.

Step 3: Center the shape. Click on Shape => select Format => select Align => select Align Center, after that go back and select Align Middle.

Step 4: Now it’s time to create effect.
First, go to the Animations, select Add animation, then More Entrance Effects… => Basic Zoom
Then, you go back to Add animation and select Glow / Shrink

Step 5: Go to Animations, select Animation Pane.
Press CTRL + A and right-click at the effect to select Start With Previous .
For smoother transition effects, right-click on the final effect (Glow / Shrink) as shown in the image below and select Timing.

Step 6: Now draw another circle that is smaller than the first one. Then align the shape to the center of the slide by holding CTRL + Shift and drag the cursor to resize.

Click on the shape that has the effect, select Animations => select Animation Painter and click on the circle. This will copy the effect of the first shape to the circle.

Step 7: Adjusting the color, we will remove the outline of the circle by choosing No Outline.
The color of the circle will be the same as the color of the slide. To do this, go to Shape Fill and choose the same color as the slide color. And in case you want to be sure, you can use the eyedropper function, click on the pen and then click on the slide is ok.

Step 8: And now the final step. Turn on the Animation Pane window and adjust the parameters as shown in the image below.

And with that you have finished creating the firework effect. It might be not that quick, but not too hard to understand is it? Don’t forget to click Preview to see the result right now.

If you want to make more fireworks, just select the shape and Ctrl + D to duplicate, you don’t have to start again at all.
