In this post I will guide to you how to measure male taper with two tubes.
α: haft taper angle
R1 and L1: inner radius and length of the small tube (Blue color)
R2 and L2: inner radius and length of the larger tube (Purple color)

I. How to measure male taper angle with two tubes.

Step 1: Drop the larger tube in to the taper.

Step 2: Drop the smaller tube in to the taper and check the distance between two faces of two tubes.

How to calculate taper angle?

Tan α=O2O3/O1O2 = (R2-R1)/(L2-L1+A)
If L1-L2 we will have Tan α=(R2-R1)/A

II. How to measure female taper angle with two tubes.
