I. Causes of flash injection molding.
+ Material effect. For example, GF resin always have flash. It is difficult to improve flash.
+ Mold has gap between the core and cavity, slider core, gas vent is too big.
+ Clamping force is small, in injection molding process. Mold will be had gap under high pressure.
+ Molding materials.
+ Injection condition is not good as pressure, speed, temperature.
+ Injection machine is not good, if this happens core and cavity must be measured first, and re-welding and re-machining.
II. Plastics injection molding troubleshooting flash defect
1. Injection molding.
+ If parting surface, ejector pin system, or slide of mold is damaged, repair the damage and remove its.
+ Check dimension of gas vent, If it is too big or depth, repair it.
+ Clean the mold before start injection molding process.
+ Increase support plate for mold.
2. Injection machine.
+ If clamping force can be increased -> we can increase clamping force.
+ Reduce holding pressure, injection speed, or molding temperature.
