In this post, I will guide to you how to resize image in powerpoint automatically? You can resize a picture, multiple images in one slide, multiple images but not with the same size.

When inserting images into Powerpoint, sometimes there will be problems with the image size. And if you insert them in the usual way, the image tends to appear in its true size, then you will have to spend time aligning the picture to fit each slide. However, if your presentation contains many images, this will take a lot of time.
Therefore, you should use an available feature on PowerPoint that will automatically resize images, and moreover when others want to get images from the file, they still can get the original size of the image.

Step 1: First, create a slide that supports inserting images. You go to Insert to choose a slide template.

Step 2: The content frames will appear in the slide. We can resize the frame to the exact size of the image to insert. Hold and drag the dots at the corners of the frame to get the desired size.

Step 3: Click the Picture icon to insert. After that, the image will be automatically resized to fit the frame, you don’t have to resize the image manually anymore.

Also the quality of the image will not be changed even when you resize the image to the smallest.

II. Automatic resize for multiple images in powerpoint in one slide.

If you want to insert multiple images in the same slide, to automatic resize you will have to use another way.
Step 1: Insert the images into the slide by going to Insert tab and select Picture.

Step 2: After you have inserted the images, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the images one by one to select all of them. Then go to tab Format, enter the size in the Height and Width sections and you’re done.

You can see the result as the size of these images has been adjusted evenly.

III. Resize multiple images but not with the same size.

Imagine you have 2 images that are not the same size, and you want to resize both images at the same time but still want to keep the size difference. Well, nothing difficult, all you have to do is:

Hold Ctrl to select both images, then at the corners, hold and drag the cursor to resize both. You will see the size of the 2 images change accordingly at the same time, but without the change of the original size difference. That’s all!
