Today on our blog we would like to discuss with you of how you can add comments in powerpoint. This is the same with when you comment on Facebook, Twitter or other social networks. In Word, there’s also a similar commenting feature that I once talked about it in an article before, but what is the difference compared to PowerPoint? Let’s continue to read the article to learn more. You can follow this method to proceed in all the latest versions of PowerPoint.
How to add comments in PowerPoint
Step 1: First to add a comment, go to tab Review and select New Comment.
Step 2: A small icon will appear at the corner of the slide, and the Comments box will be opened for you to add your comment in.
When you want to view the comment, click on the comment icon on each slide. The icons will show in the slide that you already added the comment.
You can also see a section for Reply. When you send this file to a colleague or other persons, they can view your comment also add a reply, vice versa when you receive a file containing comments.
You can add more comments by clicking New button. The two small icon nearby is to move between comments.
Step 3: To remove a comment or a reply, the first way is to click on the X that appears when hovering the pointer over that comment or reply, the second way is to select the comment and press Delete on the ribbon.
Step 4: There is one more thing that you can do to make your comment to appear more specific, which is to move the icon to exactly where you want to comment. For example, in the picture below:
That way you can know exactly what content these comments are about.
CONCLUSION
And today’s work with this article would like to end here. Hopefully this knowledge of comments can be some of the help to you while designing presentations, especially I think it will be very suitable for group discussions, group exercises… So depending on the purpose, use these PowerPoint features effectively. My job here is to give tutorial through the tips that I think maybe helpful and should be known for those who often has to work with PowerPoint, on the other side, it’s still the best to discover more yourself.
Thank you for reading this far and good luck.
